PROFILE MEASUREMENT SYSTEM - WHAT IS IM?

The IM Series Instant Measurement System is a visual inspection system that performs measurements in place of optical comparator, calipers/micrometer, measuring microscope, optical CMM, laser measurement and other measuring systems.
WHAT DO PEOPLE MEASURE?

Common measurement applications are: springs, stamped parts, plastics, rings, gears, bottles, blind holes, threads, and more.

Unlike any other profile measurement system, with the IM Series Instant Measurement System users will discover an innovative instrument for measurement applications that can reduce a 10 minutes job to JUST 5 seconds. Since the whole measurement routine is automated together with focus and lighting, no matter who operates the machine, it will give back always consistent results.
WHAT MAKES THE KEYENCE IM SERIES UNIQUE?

99 measurements can be performed on 99 objects at the same time in 5 seconds with a repeatability of ±0.1 micron, and all measurement results are being automatically recorded. Unlike any other profile measurement system, the IM series has an easy data management system and its operation does not require special skills and expensive trainings - setting up the device literally happens in minutes by only a few clicks. It is a very cost and time efficient solution compared with classic profile projector, measuring microscope or CMM.
