WHAT IS THE KEYENCE IM SERIES?

The IM Series Instant Measurement System is a visual inspection system that performs measurements in place of optical comparator, calipers/micrometer, measuring microscope, optical CMM, laser measurement, classical profile projector and other measuring systems.

Common measurement applications are: springs, stamped parts, plastics, rings, gears, bottles, blind holes, threads, and more.

THAN AN ORDINARY PROFILE PROJECTOR?

99 measurements can be performed on 99 objects at the same time in 5 seconds with a repeatability of ±0.1 micron, and all measurement results are being automatically recorded. It helps the users analyzing data through an easy and automatic data management system. Its operation does not require special skills and expensive trainings, and setting up the device literally happens in minutes by only a few clicks.
