    In the typical consolidation warehouse, this challenge is addressed with a scanning tunnel at every dock door. Scan Tunnel is the key factor in package tracking and sorting in distribution centers. Tunnel scanning ensures fast and accurate code reading from all angles.

  • How does Scan Tunnel work?

    The packages are being loaded on the conveyor belt which moves them through the Scan Tunnel equipped with several code readers. 

  •     

    The package is being read from the top, bottom, two sides, front, and back.This approach eliminates the need to position each package to the right orientation where it can be read by a single code scanner.
