Instant Reading Even with Challenging Characters that Cannot be Read with Conventional Devices

The advanced character recognition function allows for instant reading of non-barcode dates and text. KEYENCE’s proprietary AI-OCR algorithm enables stable reading of challenging characters and direct-marked characters that cannot be read with conventional devices. Conventionally, it was necessary for operators to perform visual inspections, write down values, and transfer this data to a PC by hand. It is now possible to convert results to data just by scanning the target, improving work at a variety of worksites.
