- Click [Direct setting].
- Click [Received light (live display)] on the right of the screen.
- You can visually check how the laser light is returned from the workpiece.
Check that the workpiece shape is displayed near the screen center, which means that the workpiece is installed at near the reference distance.
If the workpiece shape is not displayed near the screen center or if the line is inclined, adjust the height of the head installed.
- Lower the head height → The wave shape moves upward.
- Raise the head height → The wave shape moves downward.

If nothing is displayed on the screen, check if the laser light hits the workpiece or if the workpiece is placed at near the reference distance.

- Once the checking is done, click [Return to the measurement area display].
